The AMS Neve 4081 Digital-Option adds four channels of AD/DA conversion to your 4081 Quad microphone preamp. This convenient add-on can operate in either AES or FireWire mode, which is determined by whether a FireWire connection is detected. You also get an insert point before the A/D converter on each channel to accommodate your analog outboard gear. At Sweetwater, we’ve found the 4081 Digital-Option easy to install — it fits effortlessly inside of the 4081 Quad preamp. If you want to fully integrate the 4081 Quad into your computer-centered studio, the 4081 Digital-Option is an essential.
