The Crane Song AVOCET IIA 5.1 Monitor Controller has become the go-to monitor control box for some of the most respected names in recording and mastering because of its broad range of capabilities and its outstanding sound quality. With three digital inputs, three analog inputs, three monitor outs - each with direct subwoofer outputs featuring programmable levels in 0.25 db steps for speaker level matching, and built-in headphone amp with talkback functionality, the Crane Song AVOCET IIA 5.1 Monitor Controller is flexible enough to be the centerpiece for any studio - there are even dim, mute, and mono functions. Buffered meter outputs are also included.
All digital signals are up-sampled and jitter-reduced for outstanding accuracy during D/A conversion. The new Quantum DAC uses 32 bit a converter and ASRC for jitter reduction up sampling to 211KHz. Crane Song AVOCET IIA 5.1 Monitor Controller has always upsampled to 211KHz. The reference clock has less then 1pS, 0.5pS typical 1Hz to 100KHz and a proprietary reconstruction filter for accurate time domain response. Tracking, mixing, and mastering require the best monitoring you can achieve.
