API 235L Discrete Noise Gate

The API 235L Discrete Noise Gate provides the ability to reduce noise in any program, with emphasis on its fast response, minimizing the chance of losing parts of the sound. When you are faced with (as an example) recorded audio with high volume background noise, the 235L lets you gate the signal at a preset threshold, or using the expander function, reduce the noise to a near inaudible level. The Expander function uses a 1:2 ratio, triggering the signal at the right time without popping or clicking. With its extreme flexibility and superb sound, this unit is ideal for studio use, live sound and a whole range of different applications.
